THE ZONE WORSHIP AUDITION

Listen to and practice with The Zone's audition example tracks by clicking the play button below. If you are auditioning for the Dance Team only, please only prepare a dance audition video. If you are auditioning for Zone Vocals, please prepare a vocal audition video AND a dance audition video. When you’re ready to record your audition, download the track pertinent to your audition. Have someone video record your audition, or set up your camera or phone on a tripod to ensure that you meet the following requirements:


  • The audition audio track must be heard in the video in addition to your own voice.
  • Your entire person must be visible to evaluate stage presence, facial expressions, and body language.

Vocal Auditions

  • Video record the person auditioning singing one of the songs below.
  • To evaluate pitch, the Audition Audio track must be heard in the video.
  • To evaluate stage presence, stand with your entire person visible.

Dance Auditions

For your Zone Dance Team audition, have someone video record your audition, or set up your camera or phone on a tripod to ensure that you meet the following requirements:

  • The Dance Audition Audio track must be heard in the video so that we can evaluate rhythm, timing, and move accuracy.
  • Please DO NOT WATCH the example video when you record. We are evaluating your memorization skills in addition to your dance skills, and want to be sure that you will be able to handle memorizing multiple dance moves and songs for a Zone worship set.
