Hope Rising Prison Ministry is a local outreach serving incarcerated individuals and their families in Hillsborough and neighboring counties. Hope Rising brings Grace Family Church's weekend worship service inside jail and prison walls. We also provide restorative opportunities through the facilitation of Freedom Courses, Celebrate Recovery, Mentorships and Bible Study. Hope Rising also mentors teenage girls in juvenile detention centers through Steadfast Ministries.
Our mission is to initiate hope, awaken purpose, and restore families. We invite you to join the team!
Teams of men and women volunteer by witnessing, leading Bible studies and offering Celebrate Recovery classes, weekly or biweekly on Saturdays.
Women volunteer to mentor female minors in detention centers, visiting with them weekly or every other week.
We partner with Abe Brown Ministries for reentry support.
