“Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take”

Proverbs 3:6

Hello Beautiful ladies, my name is Debbie Kane and I am the Women’s ministry coordinator for the South Tampa location. I am married to an amazing kingdom man, Randy Kane, and we will be celebrating 10 years of marriage this year. I have two boys, Alex (23) and Parker (21), both have just recently graduated from college and are moving into the adulting world. I have 3 bonus kids as part of my blended family, DJ (42), Alexandria (30), and Juliana (26). Our lives are full with family, which also includes 3 grandchildren.

Life today is very different than I ever imagined. It is truly a gift that I feel so blessed to be walking out, but it has not been without many struggles along the way. I was a single mom with two young boys doing everything I could to keep their lives as unaffected as possible by a divorce. I would have never thought that the valley I walked through would include a trajectory of stepping into ministry and growing into such a deep and rich relationship with the Lord. God knew.

I am, at my core, an encourager. I want to encourage you ladies that God’s plan is a great one. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. I have found as I talk to so many women struggling that His plan is hard to see in the struggle, but I want to encourage you to watch for Him. Watch for the doors He opens and the doors He closes. Decisions we make today dictate what our tomorrows will look like.. One decision at a time, heading in the direction of His will. Surround yourself with people who will lift you up and people you can lead. It is where God's richest blessings are found.

During the time of my divorce struggle, I read a book called “Choosing to See” by Mary Beth Chapman. She lost one of her children in a tragic accident. Her words that I have clung to so many times since I read them on the pages are, “In the midst of disastrous circumstances there is glory to be found”. I remember thinking that I wanted that perspective moving forward in my life. In that moment, how I navigated life, hardship, and decisions were forever changed. Praying over you as you navigate life’s ups and downs, to find God’s glory. Love you ladies.
